Virginia is currently a morning and midday news anchor and reporter.
Virginia has spent most of her nearly 30-year news career in Rochester, the last 20 at YNN Rochester.
Virginia has also served as executive producer and anchor of the 7 O'Clock Report and executive producer/anchor of CNN Headline News, Local Edition updates.
Virginia started her journalism career the day after graduating from Emerson College as news director and anchor at WJCC radio near Boston Mass. She moved to television as anchor and reporter at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, VA.
An anchor position at WROC brought her to Rochester. She accepted an anchor position at YNN in 1990.

Virginia, her husband Dennis and three boys Zack, Ben and Jake live in southeast Monroe County.
With little spare time, Virginia makes the most of it balancing family, a career and a commitment to the community she lives in.
Virginia serves on the board of directors for Hope Hall. She currently volunteers at her boys' schools and coaches children on the student news program. She also volunteers at Equicenter in Mendon.
Virginia was also a participant in the 2006 Mosaic Partnership, a year-long program of partnering and dialogue to address race relations and diversity issues in Rochester.
