Body of Fisherman Still Not Recovered
Authorities still have had no luck in locating a missing Wayne County man after he went missing Monday while fishing.
Deputies now say a surface search of Sodus Bay will continue until the body of 66-year-old Alan Shultz is recovered.
Shultz, of Sodus Point, disappeared Monday after his boat capsized. He was fishing on Sodus Bay with his friend, David Schueler.
Schueler was found about 2:30 p.m. Monday clinging to the boat. He was treated for hypothermia.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office and the Monroe County Sheriff's scuba team spent a third day on the bay trying to recover Shultz's body. Sonar and underwater cameras were used during Wednesday's search.
