Bills release QB Vince Young
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have cut back-up quarterback Vince Young.
The Bills confirmed they released Young Monday. The team signed him in May to a one-year, two million dollar deal.
Just a few hours before the Bills made it official, Young tweeted:
"I want to thank the Bills organization for the opportunity and wish the organization and my teammates good luck this season".
Young's tweet comes as the Associated Press is reporting that the Bills have picked up quarterback Tarvaris Jackson in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. A source tells the AP that Jackson reached a deal with the team early this morning and is already headed to Buffalo.
