Video game enthusiasts are in Rochester this weekend for the 4th annual International Games Innovation conference.

World renowned gaming developers, including Xbox co-creator Seamus Blackley, will showcase the latest in video game technology and discuss how people can make video games more socially acceptable.

"Everyone loves to play games, of all the social stigma around games when the game industry crashed, and now that you can try games on a mobile device, it doesn't feel like anymore the commitment to go out that it would take to buy a console and people are rediscovering how much they love that experience," said Blackley.

Blackley hopes that through the accessability of video games on mobile devices, that in the future, technology will serve us instead of us serving technology.

The conference runs through Sunday at The Strong's National Museum of Play.
