Joy and Chris Burke say they may just have the secret to a successful relationship this Valentine's Day.
The two doctors at Unity Health met in residency at the same hospital and, after five years together, they were married on a beach in Hawaii. That was two years ago.
Despite being a doctor, Chris suffers from a common condition this time of year.
"Every Valentine's Day, I realize at the last moment that it's Valentine's Day, and so I traditionally race around trying to get a Valentine's Day gift, and so I've kept that tradition going even through today," Chris said.
The couple said the best part about both being doctors is knowing and appreciating what each has to go through.
