Climate Expert to Speak at SUNY Geneseo
As a large part of the east coast continues to recover from Superstorm Sandy
a national expert will speak at SUNY Geneseo Thursday about how Sandy relates to climate change.
The organizers of Geneseo's yearly American Rock Salt Lecture say climate change is something to consider as New York begins spending billions of dollars on Sandy reconstruction.
Robert Young is the director of the Program for the Study of Developed Shorelines, which does research and then turns it into policy recommendations.
He'll speak at 7:30 p.m. in Newton Hall.
