If you're like most people, you enjoy going out to eat. Most people also like a good deal, which is why this is a week to take note of.
Black & Blue Steak and Crab in Pittsford has earned a reputation for a quality meal, but it's not exactly cheap. But what if you could get a three-course meal there or at 12 other local restaurants with only a $20 bill and a shiny dime?
Local Restaurant Week offers a special meal for a special night.
"It's my birthday today and we were looking for a place to go on a Monday," said Susan Manuele. "It's about half price I think, and you get two choices, actually you get three courses and appetizer, a main course and a dessert, how can you go wrong?"
"It's a great opportunity for guests to come out to our restaurant, do a three-course meal, it's $20 and 10 cents," said Mike Wojtowicz, Black & Blue assistant manager.

There are a couple of steakhouses like Black & Blue on the list. Restaurant Week also gives you the chance to try something a little different, like Simply Crepes in Pittsford.
"We're a crepe restaurant which not many people either know about it or know what a crepe is," said Heidi Ressler of Simply Crepes.
It's not just a boon for customers – restaurants also benefit, as this is typically a slower time of year.
"We definitely don't start to pick up really towards spring break and weather getting nicer so this is definitely a great way to get business," Ressler said.
"I was taking my friend out for her birthday and we happened to see it was Restaurant Week," said Kathy Emerson.
Last year, the deal for the week was $20.09, but this year it's up a penny to $20.10, which is the base price and doesn't include tax.
Birthday girl Susan Manuele does have one request for next year's Restaurant Week: "I think they need to advertise it a little more and give you more information ahead of time so you can make your plans to go out that week."
