Three New York City Men Arrested for Home Invasion and Kidnapping  in Gates
Three New York City men face charges in Greece and Gates in connection with a home invasion which began in the west side of Monroe County and ended in the east side of the county on Friday afternoon.

Lamar Sharpe, 25, Kareem Fuller, 22 and Sean Tyrrell, 39 are charged with Robbery, Burglary, Unlawful Imprisonment and Grand Larceny charges in Greece. They also face Kidnapping, Robbery, Burglary, Grand Larceny and Assault charges in Gates.

Police said a male victim contacted Greece Police and Friday afternoon and said three men kidnapped and robbed him and his 8-year-old daughter from their Gates home and dropped them off in Greece. Police said Sheriff’s deputies spotted the vehicle the victim described on Route 490 in Pittsford a short time later. Police said Sheriff’s deputies tried to pull the vehicle over but the driver refused to stop. A short pursuit ensued and police said deputies later arrested all three suspects were arrested in the area of the Park Road Elementary School, in Pittsford.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The three suspects will be in court in Gates on Wednesday.

Greece Police would not comment on the relationship between the victim and the suspects.

Greece Police Chief Todd Baxter released a statement following the arrest. He said, “The cooperation and coordination demonstrated between the Greece Police Department, Gates Police Department and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in this incident is a shining example of our continuous efforts to bring justice to those who commit these horrific crimes in our community.”
