Unity Health System Eliminates 72 Positions
Unity Health System announced Monday that it is eliminating dozens of jobs that it says will not impact patient care.
Unity says it is eliminating 72 management, supervisory, and support positions. Thirty of those positions were vacant.
Of the remaining 42 positions, four of those employees are being redirected to other positions within Unity.
The health system said the cuts are necessary to insure that Unity remains successful.
Unity employs about 5,400 people.
