Federal Dollars to Help With Downtown Traffic Plan

By: YNN Staff

The City of Rochester is receiving more than $400,000 from the U.S. Department of Transportation to convert Broad Street from Stone Street to Chestnut Street from one-way westbound to two-way traffic.

The project is part of a downtown strategy to eliminate one way traffic where possible.

Construction is expected to begin in the spring.

The total cost of the project is $825,000.
