Dollop Owner to Focus on Frosting
A local cupcake business is to close, months after the owner won a national competition on the Food Network.
Penfield's Dollop Gourmet Cupcake Creations created a big buzz after the owner, Heather Saffer, won Food Networks's "Cupcake Wars" earlier this year.
Since then, Saffer announced she plans to close her Penfield shop to focus on a frosting business and a book deal.
Her Penfield location will close on December 24th, but it will become Dollop Gourmet Frosting, offering all-natural and gluten-free frosting flavors.
