For the eighth year in a row, IHOP restaurants around the county will be offering a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to customers from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

There is no catch to receive the free meal, but the local restaurants ask that you consider leaving a donation to support the Children's Miracle Network Hospital programs at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong.

In 2012, IHOP served four million free pancakes on this day and raised more than $3 million toward children's charities.
