More Details on Closing of East Avenue Wegmans
The current East Avenue Wegmans store will close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 23rd.
The move is being made to make room for a parking lot for its new East Avenue store. All East Avenue Wegmans employees will be reassigned to other locations until the new store is ready. Most of the food from the old store will be donated to Foodlink.
Wegmans is setting up a temporary pharmacy location across the street at 1749 East Avenue. The new store is set to open on May 19th.
