The Rochester Americans skated to a 3-2 win over the Portland Pirates at the HSBC arena in Buffalo Sunday.

Jeff Taffe and Mike York each had a goal and an assist and Victor Oreskovich added a goal. Tyler Plante made 28 saves picking up his second straight win.

The Amerks host the Albany River Rats this Friday.
