At this weekend's super-sectional wrestling tournament, a couple sets of brothers take center stage. There's Al and Bob Dierna at Wayne Central and Owen and Craig Scott at Palmyra-Macedon. But it's a trio from Wyoming County that rules the small school division.

Warsaw won the Class BB team wrestling title, sending 13 wrestlers to this weekend's super-sectionals.

Five Tigers won their weight classes and three of them are brothers, seventh-grader Aaron Paddock, freshman Burke Paddock and senior Joey Paddock. And it's no coincidence. Their dad, Brad, built a wrestling room over their garage.

"We have a lot of tough kids up here, great partners, great coaches. I've got my brothers to help me, my brother's friends, like Mike Nevinger, just great wrestlers, great technique, lots of live, high-intensity, helps all of us," said Joey Paddock

Among the Tiger contingent at RIT this weekend is junior Hanna Grisewood. She hopes to join a movement towards Division I scholarship wrestling.

“I don't think I'd be as good as I am now without being able to be here. Brad's helped me a lot with this, wrestling, made me better," said Hanna

The Paddock's wrestling room has seen eight Division I wrestlers, including a Paddock, currently a sophomore at Ohio State.

"My goal is definitely to wrestle division one when I go to college and comes back with a lot of good stuff every time he comes home, it's great," said Burke Paddock

The competition is intense, Gates-Chili's Lewis Cucchiara is among the non-Warsaw Tigers that have visited.

Joey said “I think every one of my competitors has the same opportunity to work hard and have a great attitude to win. It's just whoever uses that attitude and their resources the best that's gonna be the champion."

And the dreams don't end with sectionals or states.

"I wanna keep on wrestling my whole life. I'm going to college and wrestling and I'm hoping I go to the Olympics and win there," said Aaron.
