Lindy Ruff Officially Out for Bruins Game

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Lindy Ruff won't be behind the bench for Wednesday night's Sabres game after breaking three ribs during practice on Monday.
James Patrick will handle coaching duties for the game against the Boston Bruins.
Ruff may or may not be in the building, watching from the press box. The Sabres say it will be a game-time decision.
Ruff was injured when defensemen Jordan Leopold ran into him during drills Monday morning.
Team captain Jason Pominville isn't too worried.
"It changes this a little bit in the since that it is a new voice, but at the same time
I think the game plan is the same, the system will be the same. Not much has changed besides the person speaking and talking during intermission," said Pominville.
The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Niagara Center.
