Bills, Vince Young adjusting to each other

By: YNN Staff

Bills, Vince Young adjusting to each other
Believe it or not, it won't be long until we're talking about football games on Sundays. We're only three months away from the Bills season opener, and only seven and a half weeks away from the start of training camp. Meanwhile, the team has three more weeks of organized workouts in Orchard Park.

Adding a high-profile backup always makes for an interesting dynamic in the NFL. With Vince Young entering the mix, Bills fans have a lot to talk about. Ryan Fitzpatrick was solid last season until a rib injury, and so team management decided to add more competition at the backup position, bringing a player with experience and mobility - who appears to be working well in the Bills' QB room.

"I don't have the (tattoos) that he does and all that," Fitzpatrick said, regarding Young. "He's 6'5'', he's a pretty big guy. We actually are pretty similar personalities. He's a pretty nice, easy going guy. We all get along well. That's something that's important. You want to be there for each other, and that's kind of the number one thing you look for in a quarterbacks room as a quarterback."

"I'm just trying to learn," Young said. "That's all I'm trying to do right now; stay in the book, and if I do make a mistake, make sure I get in the film room to correct it."
