The Rochester Rhinos host the Antigua Barracuda on Wednesday night. With seven of their final nine regular season games at home, the club knows it needs to take advantage of playing at home to improve their standing in the league.
A problem that's nagged the Rhinos all season has been their ability to consistently play well at Sahlen’s Stadium. While boasting a 6-2-2 record on the road, the Rhinos have scored 13 goals.
At home, it's been a completely different story. They're 1-2-2 on the season and have netted only 4 goals. The team is creating chances, but the results haven't been there.
"It's been a focus for most of the season: execution on goals and taking our chances when we get them and finish them. That's something we need to be more critical in, and when we're doing it in practice. It's a focus thing for us and that's something we've been working on for the past couple of months. Execution of the final pass, and the final shot,” said Troy Roberts, defender.
