"This was a big win for us," said Jairus Byrd after his two interception performance. "Coming from the past two weeks, the performance we had, this was big."

The phrase "winning cures all" also covers what happened in the fourth quarter. Many Bills fans are questioning Chan Gailey's decision to throw out of the wild cat formation. The team was up three with less than four minutes to play, when Brad Smith's deep pass was intercepted, leading to the game tying field goal.

"We were trying to throw it more to the middle of the field, to keep it away from the outside," said Gailey. "If we hit that, we're all talking about what a great call it is, and if we don't it was a dumb call. So it was a dumb call. If I had to do it over again, I'd run it. That's the way life is."

Because the Bills were able to pull out the win, it's not as hot of a topic as it would have been. Fitzpatrick was not keen on offering an opinion on the topic.

"You'll have to ask Chan about that one," the Bills quarterback said. "As pros, we go out there and execute whatever is called. If it's the right play, if it's the wrong play, you try to make it the right play. You'll have to ask Chan that."

No matter how they got there, the Bills got the win. Winning cured all. They are now tied with the other three teams in the AFC East, with matching 3-3 records. The Bills host the Titans on Sunday, and then have their bye week.
