Penalties Prove Painful in Bills Defeat in New England

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The Bills are still winless here at Gillette Stadium. The players talked all week about finishing both drives and games, and just couldn't do it in the end, falling by six points. The team with 14 penalties for 148 yards - just one of the reasons for the Bills latest loss.

"That side of the ball defensively, we gave up too many yards without them having to produce it on their side of the ball, with penalties," safety George Wilson said. "We extended drives. We gave them every opportunity to keep their drives going."

"Every game's a new game. Anyone can win or lose on any given Sunday," said defensive end Mario Williams. "We definitely were there. We had just a crazy amount of penalties. We lost, that's pretty much it."

No time to dwell on the loss - the Bills are back at it Thursday night, hosting Miami.
