Chinonso Obokoh made good on his verbal commitment he gave to Syracuse last month, as he signed his letter of intent Friday.
Held in the gymnasium in front of classmates and faculty, the 6'10" senior is ranked by Scout.com as the 27th best center in the 2013 recruiting class.
Despite that, he promised to still get better as a student and an athlete.
"I just want to work hard. I know that I can do it and with time, just go out there and do what I know how to do best. Work hard. All this, I can't believe it. It just seems like a dream. It's a dream come true," Obokoh said.
