Big play continues to elude Bills

Big play continues to elude Bills
A day off Tuesday for the Bills before the team starts getting ready for a home game against 2-9 Jacksonville Sunday.

At 4-7, there is plenty to address with the Bills. One area on offense is producing at crucial times.

Against the Colts, there was just one standout play: a pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick to Stevie Johnson that came up short of the end zone and the Bills settled for a field goal.

The team is having a hard time connecting on the on the big play.

"The negative plays and the longer third-down stuff we have not been as good with as I would have hoped coming into the season we would be. That is part of it. Sometimes it is one guy or one great defensive play that will ruin a play," Fitzpatrick said.

"When we are clicking and executing, well, we have one of the best offenses in the league and when we are not doing those things and those plays it's going to be thrown off," said CJ Spiller. "Like I said, we have a very explosive offense and we can play with anyone in the NFL."
