With the NHL still on ice as the lockout drags on, Buffalo fans starving to see some hockey got a chance Friday night as the Rochester Americans played at First Niagara Center for the second time this season.
It was the largest crowd in Amerks history and any hockey game in the building for that matter, as 19,070 watched the Amerks take on the Lake Erie Monsters.
Amerks take it 4-1. They're back in Rochester against Binghamton Saturday night.
