Amerks goalie David Leggio made 30 saves against the Bulldogs for the shutout.
The Amerks and Bulldogs are scheduled to meet Friday in Montreal. First, Rochester plays host to the league-leading Texas Stars on Wednesday at the Blue Cross Arena.
