For the Syracuse Orange it was never a question of whether they would make the NCAA tournament.
Despite losing the Big East championship to Louisville on Saturday night, the Orange still figured to have a top four seed and begin tourney play with a renewed confidence.
Syracuse heads west to begin play in the NCAA basketball tournament on Thursday.
Seeded 4th in the East region, the Orange will face No. 13 Montana in San Joe, California. Syracuse's three wins in the Big East Tourney undoubtedly helped them get a 4 seed.
