The Syracuse University men's basketball team left for San Jose, Cailfornia where the Orange will begin preparations for a first round NCAA tournament game against 13th seeded Montana.
Syracuse lost four out of its last five games to end the regular season and needed a strong showing in the Big East Tournament to improve its NCAA seeding. Mission accomplished. The Orange won three games before falling to Louisville in the Big East Championship. Syracuse secured the fourth seed in the East Regional.
