Ganondagan State Historic Site in Victor is alive this weekend with Native American dance music and arts.
Peter Jemison.
This is the 18th annual festival, and it features traditional dancers, storytellers and artists, all sharing their Native American cultural heritage.
Organizers say they are trying something new at this year's event.
"We're really going toward the green, really emphasizing recycling all of the garbage and everything here on site, separating it and making sure that it goes to the right landfill and that it gets recycled back into the earth where we can," said Historic Site Manager Peter Jemison.
Jemison says they also have solar power and wind power on site, in order to power the sound system.
The event runs through Sunday, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
