Neighbors are reacting to the devastating fatal fire.
Elijah Rivera says he was at the home playing video games with his friend just before the fire. He says the other kids were asleep.
Rivera says no more than 20 minutes after he left he saw smoke coming from the house from his home next door.
“It was just flames everywhere. The crime scene tape wasn't even up, we got to go closer. Yeah, the mom was going crazy she was trying to run back in the house and the upstairs was just flaming with fire," said Rivera.
"That's like someone you see every day. That person just stops coming around, you're going to feel some kind of way," said neighbor Jose Cruz.
City officials are also reacting to the deadly fire on Grape Street. Mayor Tom Richards released a statement praising the attempts of the firefighters to save the victims.
"I commend their bravery," the mayor said. "But also feel their anguish at not being able to save those children. The origin of this fire remains under investigation and the circumstances are unclear. What is clear is that this community lost four beautiful children and our city is diminished by it. Our thoughts and prayers are with this family tonight."
