Man Found Guilty of Murder
It took a Monroe County jury just an hour and a half to convict a Rochester man of second degree murder.
Matthew Townsend, 44, was found guilty Wednesday in the death of 27-year-old Tocarra Harmon.
Harmon's body was found stuffed inside a garbage tote on Lyell Avenue in January 2011. The Monroe County Medical Examiner later determined Harmon died of asphyxiation.
Townsend will be sentenced at a later date.
