Dugan Yard was first built in 2000. The field is dedicated to Kevin Dugan's father Donald, who was an avid baseball fan and as part of the ceremony Kevin was made an honorary member of the St. John Fisher baseball team.

Brandon Potter, St. John Fisher Head Coach said, "It's a great place to come and you'll be able to get better every year, and you know and I think what it shows is that we keep trying to get better, we keep trying to add things and new things and seeing where we can go with things. So yeah, it's huge for recruiting, absolutely."

The improvements give the Cardinals additional bleachers and storage for the baseball team.
