No one was hurt, but eight people are now homeless after a fast-moving apartment fire in the Orleans County village of Holley.
Flames broke out around noon inside a second floor apartment on State Street.
Fire crews tell YNN the fire spread quickly. Four apartments were damaged in all.
As many as six volunteer fire companies were called to the scene.
"Well, initially, we didn't have as much manpower on-scene as we'd like to. We had to call some additional companies in. It's just during the day, during the weekdays, it's always tough. People work; they're not around, they're not available," said Lt. Robert Emerson of the Holley Fire Department.
The Red Cross is assisting those affected by the fire.
