Wrongful Death Lawsuit in 2011 Thruway Bus Crash
A Canadian Tour bus company is facing a wrongful death lawsuit. The driver of the bus and the insurance company is also named in the suit.

The lawsuit is being filed by the widow of the truck driver who died in the crash.

Stephanie Hume filed the suit in U.S. District Court earlier this week. Her husband, Timothy, was the only person killed in the crash on the Thruway in Seneca County last July.

The suit accuses the driver, Rene Bisson of Ontario, Canada of negligent and careless conduct.

The bus company, Farr Coach Lines, is accused of failing to properly check the bus drivers credentials.
