The man suspected of killing six people at a Sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee has been connected to a white supremicist group.

Law enforcement officials say 40-year-old Wade Michael Page is an Army veteran and former leader of a white supremacist heavy metal band.

Page was killed outside the temple in a shootout with police. Authorities describe Pages' attack as an act of domestic terrorism.

President Obama told reporters at the Oval Office Monday afternoon that "all of us are heartbroken by what happened.''
