Remaining Tickets for U.S. Women's Soccer Game to Be Sold Online Only
Ticket sales for the U.S. women's soccer team game in Rochester against Costa Rica will go back on sale Thursday afternoon.
The U.S. Soccer Federation had suspended ticket sales after more than 11,000 tickets were sold during online pre-sales.
The demand for tickets sparked U.S. Soccer and Sahlen's Stadium to expand seating capacity. About another 1,000 temporary bleacher seats have been added to the south end of the stadium.
Standing room-only tickets will also be sold for crowds clamoring to see the U.S. women's
soccer team in their first game since winning the gold medal at the London Olympics.
It's important to note tickets will only be sold online through Ticketmaster, with a maximum of six tickets sold to a single person. U.S. Soccer says no phone or over-the-counter sales will be permitted.
Ticket sales resume at noon Thursday.
