LIVINGSTON COUNTY -- Two Republican candidates running for Livingston County District Attorney will have to wait until Monday to find out who won the primary. The final uncounted ballot will be unsealed Monday morning at the Livingston County Board of Elections.

Steve Sessler is clinging to a one-vote lead over Eric Schiener after Supreme Court Justice John Ark ruled two of the five ballots in question were to be thrown out. Two of the the remaining three ballots have been counted as votes for Sessler, with one ballot yet to be counted.

If the final count ends in a tie, the Livingston County Republican Chairman will make the final decision on who the winner of the GOP primary is.
