Authorities say 26-year-old Ryan Adams of Rochester was shot on Lincoln Street, near North Street, just before midnight.

Police say they found Adams lying on the sidewalk near the North Street Community Center around 11:45. He had at least one gunshot wound to the leg.

Adams was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A car was towed from Lincoln Street as part of this investigation.

Police are asking anyone with information to please come forward and call 911.
