Monroe County's two new millionaires were introduced at a news conference Thursday morning.

Gail Cappella was presented with an oversized check from the New York Lottery. She won a $16.5 million lottery drawing October 13th.

Gail has had a lotto subscription for sixteen years. After taxes, Gail's check totals more than seven million dollars.

The second lottery winner is Dorothy West of Rochester. Dorothy is a million dollar winner of the new Prism Payout scratch off game.

After confirming she had a big winner, Dorothy came up with a rather unique hiding place for her ticket.

"Put it in my food cupboard. If anybody's going to steal from me it's not my food, so we kind of slid into the back of my food cupboard," she said.

Dorothy said her husband bought the ticket hoping to improve his luck after having a bad night of bowling.
