Amerks to Hold "Salute the Troops Night"
With Veterans Day occurring on Sunday, many schools and groups are holding programs, celebrations and flag raising ceremonies to honor veterans Friday.
The Amerks are holding their "Salute the Troops Night" when they host the Adirondack Phantoms Friday evening.
The team is offering all active and retired U.S. military personnel and veterans a complimentary ticket to the game.
There will also be in-game tributes.
