Calling Hours Announced for Steuben County Soldier
A Steuben County man who was killed in Afghanistan early this month is being returned this Tuesday to his family in the U.S.
Calling hours and service for Army Specialist Ryan Jayne will take place from 4 p.m., to 8 p.m., at Corning High School on Wednesday.
The services will then be moved to the football field for a military service. There was a reception for the family Sunday in Canisteo.
Specialist Jayne was killed November 3 along with two other soldiers while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Paktia province of Afghanistan.
