Female Inmate Charged With Punching Jail Deputy in the Face
An inmate in the Monroe County Jail faces additional charges after authorities say she punched a jail deputy in the face.
Deputies say 29-year-old Tricia Dawson slipped free from her handcuffs and punched the corporal in the face on Thursday, inside the jail. He suffered minor head and hand injuries.
Dawson was charged with a second degree assault charge.
