Winn Development Corporation plans to redevelop the downtown site into educational, residential, office, and retail use.

The building's former owner was in significant debt to the city.

The more than 1,000,000 square foot building has 12 stories and 22 elevators.

MCC currently leases space for its downtown campus. Rochester mayor Tom Richards has consistently said he's like to see the new MCC campus remain in the building.
