With the holidays just around the corner, one organization is helping servicemen overseas stay connected to their loved ones back home.

Full Circle Home makes the holidays a little more special for the women at home while their significant others are far away.

Through sponsorships and donations, each serviceman is able to send their wife or girlfriend 12 Days of Christmas: one present for 12 days that may include a handwritten letter, a gift or memento to help them feel connected and pampered during the season.

"This started when my son was in Iraq and I wanted to help him send his Christmas gifts home because he had asked me on a previous deployment, and I wanted to help all of the guys that he was serving with," said Vickie Durfee, executive director. "I just started talking to people around that I knew and they just said 'oh gosh, I'll help, I'll sponsor somebody' and it grew to 150 sponsors in just a couple of months."
