HENRIETTA, N.Y. -- A fire broke out Wednesday morning in a maintenance building at a Henrietta golf course. Fire crews responded to the Riverton Golf Club shortly after 10 a.m. for several reports of smoke seen in the area.

Firefighters say fertilizer, lawn mowers and some of the club's golf carts were inside at the time of the fire.

"Our initial concern was there's a propane tank on the side of the building and the exposure of the clubhouse itself. We were able to protect the exposure, protect the fuel, so those became a non-issue," said Jim Comstock, Henrietta Fire Chief.

No one was in the building and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
