Rochester Police are investigating a shooting that sent a 33-year old city resident to the hospital.
Police say the shooting happened just before midnight on Emerson Street. When they arrived to the scene they found the victim lying in the street.
The victim has been transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
