Investigators say they were called to the home in Penn Yan after reports that a man was threatening to burn it down. Police say when officers arrived, the man did set the house on fire.

According to detectives, officers were forced to storm the house to make an arrest.

The suspect was taken to Soldiers and Sailors hospital for evaluation. Police have not released the suspect's name, or the charges he faces.
