Two Rochester police officers and a suspect were injured after all three were hit by a car Monday night.

According to the Rochester Police Department, Officers Richard Doran and Kevin Flanagan were chasing two suspects involved in possible drug activity in the 1600 block of Saint Paul Street around 9 p.m. Monday.

While one suspect got away, the two officers were arresting the second suspect, 35-year old Singh Gurvinder of Rochester, in the middle of the street. That's when police say a car hit the officers and the suspect.

Doran and Flanagan were taken to Highland Hospital. The suspect was taken to Rochester General, all for minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the three men has been ticketed for failure to yield.
