Man Sentenced Again in Fatal Stabbing
A Rochester man convicted twice of fatally stabbing his girlfriend in 2006, was sentenced again Wednesday morning.
Judge Frank Geraci sentenced Donyell McKenzie, 41, to 25 years-to-life in state prison. Prosecutors say McKenzie stabbed Tyffany Porter, 23, 47 times in front of her 7-year-old daughter on Rosewood Terrace.
In court Wednesday McKenzie delivered a rambling speech saying he doesn't remember all of the things he did.
Geraci called McKenzie a dangerous person who should be kept out of the community forever.
McKenzie was originally convicted of killing Porter back in 2007, but that verdict was overturned on a technicality.
