Police Officer Charged with Assault
A Niagara Falls police officer has been charged with assault after prosecutors say she attacked a woman at a Darien Lake concert.
The Buffalo News says the Genesee County District Attorney's Office upgraded a harassment charge to an assault charge against 47-year-old Kelley Alcorn, of Grand Island.
The paper says Alcorn pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Darien Town Court.
The Buffalo News says Alcorn attacked a woman from Farmington, leaving her with bruises and a concussion during a concert on August 25th.
