Webster to Offer Full Day Kindergarten
The Webster School Board voted Thursday night to offer a full day kindergarten.
The idea started about 18 months ago in a summer workshop with the Board of Education.
Webster compared itself to national statistics and found its kindergarten students only just met the benchmark for acceptable learning.
Out of 1,200 people surveyed, about 80 percent were in favor of full-time kindergarten.
