Local Churches Stuff Stockings for the Holiday Season

Two local churches teamed up to help collect items for food pantries and other charities.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Penfield and St. Martin Lutheran Church in Webster sorted and filled over 150 stockings Sunday.
They included dental hygiene products, hats, gloves, toys among other items.
Those stockings will then be delivered to Community Lutheran Ministries and food cupboards in Webster, Walworth and the Town of Ontario.
Pastor Johanna Johnson says it's important to give back during this holiday season.
"We're very blessed to have a lot of things so we are really honored and blessed to be able to use our resources to serve people in our community who don't have as much as we do," said Johnson.
